Organizations are formed to deliver a value proposition to those they are called to serve. In a universe created and governed by a sovereign God, the only way to deliver an excellent value proposition is through obedience to the will and ways of God. Seeking to do anything outside of the will and ways of God will not be blessed. Divine blessing is uniquely extended to organizations that align with God. This means that value propositions must consist of licit products and services delivered in a licit way.
For an organization to obey the will and ways of God in the delivery of its value proposition, the organization must employ people who know how to discern the will and ways of God. The above text reminds us that the key to the blessing of God is a personal life regulated by the Word of God. To be regulated by the Word of God requires knowledge of and obedience to values, principles, and practices congruent with Scripture. Therefore, the organization’s workforce must be composed of people who are regulated by Scripture and, consequently, self-governed under God. Furthermore, these people will be submitted to the authority of Scripture that comes from a high view of the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.
In the cultures of the world today, particularly in the United States, the authority of the Bible is not widely embraced because people don’t view it as the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. Biblical literacy is low and most people have little knowledge of Scripture. As a result, people are not regulated by Scripture and lack the predicate for enjoying divine blessing. Such people cannot be agents of divine blessing in and through organizations. Organizations that employ them will be vexed in their attempt to enjoy the blessing of God in the delivery of their value propositions.
If organizational leaders desire to enjoy God’s blessing in the delivery of their value propositions, the best solution is to employ workers educated by families, schools, and churches committed to producing biblically literate people who are submitted to and regulated by Scripture.

They also understand that to deliver excellent value requires workers who are regulated by Scripture so that they can discern God’s will and do God’s will according to God’s ways.
